Kosmisk Väg is the new album by Skeppet, the band’s first proper release since Phase 3, released by Not Not Fun Records in 2014. The envisioned trajectory for Kosmisk Väg was, as always with Skeppet, the endless repetition of simple themes. This time, however, the intention was to strip the instrumentation down to just using synths: no guitars, no drums, and no melodies. This didn’t work out, and drums and guitars eventually managed to find their way into the mix. In some sense, Kosmisk Väg may be seen as an unintended or only partially conscious attempt to process the work by UK soundheads Loop.

Medicine is one of the most hauntingly beautiful albums I've ever had to privilege to hear. It helped me get more in touch with my own self, spirituality and nature. It certainly lives up to its name. The flutes, drumming and percussion are just wonderful. This is a great album to let play all the way through. pimblycharles
